My daughter won the first round and I think that really lit the spark for her because all of the sudden she was much more interested in which weapon seemed to have the longest reach and if the armor applied to the sides and back would cushion from jabs to try and save health. We couldn’t help but cheer and giggle as the different HEXBUG Warriors would end up getting chased and jabbed. With the mega Battle Stadium assembled we all turned them on and let them loose and that’s when hilarity ensued.

The pieces are really easy to snap together and allow many configuration options. While the kids and I built Warriors my husband built a massive battle track by combining a Battle Stadium and two Battle Arenas. My kids cooperated and shared parts to build their champion. The last HEXBUG Warrior left standing is the winner. After enough hits the warrior runs out of health and stops moving. Each hit makes the damage indicator light blink more rapidly indicating declining health. The HEXBUG Warriors chase each other around the stadium and when your warrior jabs another one it activates an onboard shock sensor. The weapons actually come to life when you set the HEXBUG into a Battle Stadium or Battle Arena and that’s where it really gets interesting. After arming and armoring your HEXBUG you push the button on and the patented HEXBUG Nano vibration technology kicks in. It works great but I still wasn’t sure how it was going to actually spin as I didn’t see any gearing attached to it. The circular saws looked like they were actually going to move! So the first thing I did once we had them out of the box was give the saw a spin. Before we opened the packages I was really curious about some of the weapons. You get to outfit your Warrior with mechanical weapons and armor. The timing couldn’t be better as my guy is finally old enough to keep toys out of his mouth and is very excited about anything and everything robotic!įor those of you not familiar with the operation of a HEXBUG Warrior Battling Robot here’s the scoop. Well, HEXBUG recently released a new line of HEXBUG Warriors Battling Robots and asked us to try them out. My girl is more interested in ponies and dolls and my guy was just a little too young. Every time I walk by a HEXBUG display at the store I always stop and check them out.
